Company is a non-profit making Club for the active, unattached single, separated, divorced, or widowed. We are NOT a dating site. To find yourself suddenly alone or starting retirement can be quite daunting, but you will always find a welcome at Company.

At Company, our hope is to bring people aged 60+ together and foster new lasting friendships through various social activities. If you would like to expand your social circle and have fun in a safe, social environment, we invite you to join us!

Founded in 1978, Company has been in the community for over 45 years with a weekly club night at the Boot & Slipper, Amersham. We currently have almost 70 members.

We are a group of people living in a 20 mile radius of Amersham, who, for various reasons, find ourselves on our own. We believe that engaging with others and participating in events/activities with like-minded people is beneficial to life balance.

The ethos of the club is that we each arrange one event per year, which makes for a very varied programme. Our events and activities (social, cultural, leisure) include: Sunday walks and lunches, bridge, theatre visits, House parties, restaurant lunches/dinners, BBQ’s, music-based evenings, afternoon teas, quizzes, home and garden visits, dinner dances, canal and river cruises and holidays.

We spend a great deal of time laughing and having fun.
